Pay with Dash: where you can spend it
In short: a short, hand-checked list of real services that take Dash as payment today, starting with AI and privacy tools. For each one we say what you can pay for, and whether it mentions Dash's fast InstantSend payments or the newer Shielded payments. We checked every listing on the service's own website or official account.
Last checked: 21 October 2026, against each service's own pages. Payment options change, so check at checkout. · Last updated:
How paying with Dash works
- At checkout, choose Dash. The shop shows an amount in DASH and an address (often as a QR code). Scan it with your wallet and send the exact amount shown, before the timer runs out.
- It's usually quick. Most Dash payments are locked by InstantSend within seconds, so many shops can confirm your order straight away. Some wait for a block confirmation, which takes a few minutes.
- It can't be reversed. There's no card-style chargeback. If something goes wrong, you deal with the shop's support team, so buy from services you trust and start small.
- It isn't private by default. Normal Dash payments are on a public record. Read about CoinJoin and the Shielded balance on our Why we like Dash page.
AI and privacy
- NanoGPT · pay-as-you-go access to a large range of AI chat, image and video models, with no subscription.
Pay with Dash for: topping up your balance, which you then spend on any model. No account or ID needed, and crypto top-ups get a small bonus. Shielded: NanoGPT announced in September 2026 that it accepts top-ups from Dash's Shielded balance, the first service to do so. Its current payment help page lists Dash but doesn't mention Shielded, so check the Balance page before you send. - NymVPN · a privacy-focused VPN, with a fast mode and a slower, more private “mixnet” mode.
Pay with Dash for: a NymVPN subscription. Dash is listed on Nym's payment help page (updated 27 October 2026). Your plan is unlocked with a 24-word access code instead of an email and password, so store it as safely as a recovery phrase.
Gift cards, shopping and travel
- DashSpend (inside the DashPay app) · buy store gift cards from inside the official Dash wallet.
Pay with Dash for: gift cards from the CTX and PiggyCards providers, often at a discount, which you show as a barcode at the till or use online. Mainly US shops for now. - CardsRelay · a gift card shop with 1,500+ brands that only asks for an email address.
Pay with Dash for: any card in its catalogue, such as Amazon, Steam, DoorDash, Deliveroo or ChatGPT cards. InstantSend: yes, since 10 October 2026; it says the code usually arrives by email within seconds. Shielded: not yet, it says. Check the card works in your country before you buy. - Bitrefill · a long-running shop for gift cards, phone top-ups and eSIMs in many countries.
Pay with Dash for: gift cards, mobile refills and other products in its store. Dash is listed among its payment options. - Nomadz · a travel booking site for hotels and flights.
Pay with Dash for: flights and hotel stays. Dash payments went live on 30 September 2026, according to Nomadz's own announcement. Check the cancellation rules before you book, as with any travel site.
Wallets and swaps
These don't sell you anything, but they help you hold Dash or swap other coins into it. For the official Dash wallets, see our Why we like Dash page.
- Edge · a beginner-friendly wallet for many coins, including Dash, where only you hold the keys.
Use with Dash for: holding, sending and receiving Dash, and swapping between coins in the app. - Gem Wallet · an open-source wallet for many coins, where only you hold the keys.
Use with Dash for: holding, sending and receiving Dash, which it added in October 2026. - InstaSwap · a swap service for exchanging one coin for another without opening an exchange account.
Use with Dash for: swapping other coins into Dash, or Dash into other coins. It also offers trading products and its own token, which we don't cover or recommend.
Before you pay
- Listing isn't endorsement. We list services that say they accept Dash. We don't use, test or vouch for every one, and we aren't paid by any of them. Do your own checks, read reviews and start with a small amount.
- Type the web address yourself or use the links above. Fake copies of crypto sites are common.
- Never give anyone your recovery phrase, and never paste it into a website or an AI chatbot. No real shop needs it.
- Be wary of anyone promising returns, “doubling” your coins or asking you to send crypto to fix a problem. That's a scam.
